The Laksa curry mix is found in the coastal regions of Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The exact origin of this blend remains unknown, but the aromas are typical of Southeast Asian cuisine, including notes of tangy fresh lemon, lemongrass, a coconut base, sweet pepper.
This Laksa blend has become very popular on fusion-Asian menus to bring lemongrass-coconut flavors unique to Southeast Asian cuisine.
Ingredients: Green Cardamom, Cassia Cinnamon, Chilli, Cloves, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Garlic, Ginger, Lemongrass, Lemon, Mace, Onion, Black Pepper, Sea Salt, Turmeric
Use: brown the spices in the oil, then dilute with a broth or water. Add your ingredients (vegetables, chicken, fish, shrimp). Finish cooking with coconut milk and a drizzle of soy sauce. Add lemon juice before serving.
