Proportion: 1 g or a small pinch per person for turmeric powder
Use: brings a gingery and earthy flavor to your curries and also a pretty orange-yellow color. Used in Indian, Malaysian and Thai cuisine. Goes perfectly with lamb, chicken, potatoes, curries, lentils (dahl), shellfish or savory cakes.
