This mixture is traditionally native to the Sumatra and Java Islands in Indonesia, but other countries have adopted it such as Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines or Thailand.
Ingredients : Pepper, Coriander, Cumin, Garlic, Ginger, Dried lemon, Onion Turmeric, Sugar, Salt
Aroma : Spicy, Sweet, Sour
Use : mix the Satay spices with a little oil (ideally peanut oil) and a touch of soy sauce, then marinate your meat or vegetable ingredients, let stand at least 30 minutes in the fridge. Grill your ingredients in a pan or on the barbecue. For a creamy sauce aspect, you can add coconut milk at the end of cooking in your pan
